Michigan’s energy future public forum to be held at NextEnergy: NextEnergy, located at 461 Burroughs in Detroit, will serve as the host location for the fifth of seven public forums on Michigan’s energy future from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25. Michigan Public Service Commission Chairman John D. Quackenbush and Michigan Energy Office Director Steve Bakkal will facilitate the event featuring speakers from Marathon, DTE Energy, Ford Motor Co., THAW and more. The information gathered during this public forum will assist policymakers as they take a comprehensive look at Michigan’s energy future. Following the formal presentations, participants will have the opportunity to present their comments to the panelists. Comment cards will be available at the event. Public comments may also be submitted through April 25 via the Michigan.gov/energy Web site.
