Lesson On Golf: Tiger Woods Finally Wins A Major!

Figured we would get that headline out of the way since our Program Director Jimmy Powers tells me every year that Tiger will win two majors. I think Jimmy has been here since 2009. How has that prediction worked out?
The "Major" Tiger Woods has won is the lovely Olympian Lindsey Vonn- i.e. a "major girlfriend".
The couple actually announced it on Facebook yesterday- complete with a professional photo shoot. In other words, very "untiger like".
As a so called member of the golf media, I often get emails from all over the place as to the odds for winning major championships. However, this is the first time I received the below attached email as to "How long Tiger and Lindsey will last" and "what are the odds of them getting married".
What do you think? My guess is that no matter how long his relationship lasts-it won't last as long as his nearly five year steak of going winless in Majors.
History shows us that Woods has won nearly all of his majors while living a double life. - While he was getting biblical with many different women.
If Tiger is now really serious about changing his ways, more the power to him. But we cannot ignore the possibility that he has also changed as a golfer.
The decade of 2000-2009 was the most dominant decade of golf we have ever seen. Better than Nicklaus, Hogan, Jones- all of them.
However that guy is gone. He is now 38 years old with a history of physical and mental baggage that far exceeds his age.
What we have left is still one of the top players in the world- but one without the mental toughness he once had to close out majors.
And Jimmy- call me in September.
