Police Look To ID Woman Killed By Car In Warren

WARREN (WWJ) - Police in Warren are trying to learn more about a woman who was killed after being hit by a car near 13 Mile and Ryan roads.

Police say the unidentified woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, but died shortly after the accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver stopped at the scene and was questioned. Police say preliminary information indicates that the driver was not at fault, but the prosecutor’s office will make the final call.

In the meantime, police are trying to find out more about the victim, who was not carrying any kind of identification.
