Teen Charged After Body Found Under Flint Trailer
FLINT (AP) - A 17-year-old boy has been charged as an adult in the death of a 26-year-old man whose body was found beneath a mobile home in Flint.
Steven J. Willingham was arraigned Monday on an open murder charge and a firearms charge in Flint District Court. WEYI-TV says a judge entered a not-guilty plea on Willingham's behalf, ordered him jailed without bond and scheduled his next court appearance for next week.
The court said Tuesday that it didn't know what lawyer was representing the teen.
Authorities say they found the body of Christopher Cole last Wednesday at Elms Mobile Home Park. Cole was reported missing March 24 from his home in Genesee County's Mount Morris Township.
Police say they also found Cole's vehicle at the mobile home park.
