On The Road To The Final Four: Away We Go...

Evan Jankens and I left the 97.1 studios at 4:30 am with a full tank of gas and a dream. It was only 100 miles in though before Evan used the first women's bathroom of the trip.
As daylight broke and we crossed the Kentucky state line, we could hear the cries coming from Ashley Judd on the side of the road, devasted her Wildcats were not in the Final Four. So of course being the fine citizens we are, we gave her a lift to Atlanta so she could cheer on her new favorite team the Michigan Wolverines.
We reached the halfway point of Tennessee and the beautiful Smokey Mountains. We were surprised to run into Peyton Manning at a rest stop, and he finally admitted that Charles Woodson should have won the Heisman in 1997.
What happens in Lake City…..Doesn't stay in Lake City.
Shockers sighting as we approached Hotlanta. Wichita State is extremely well represented and it looks like the entire state of Kansas, except Jayhawk fans are here.
We finally pulled in to Atlanta, 15 Red Bulls and 4 KFC Buffets later. The feeling in this town is electric as we get set for what should be a Final Four to remember.
Much more to come……………#EPIC
