Harlem Globetrotters' 'Handles' Franklin Shows 97.1 The Ticket How He Got His Nickname

DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) The Harlem Globetrotters' very own 'Handles' Franklin stopped by 97.1 The Ticket today to promote the team's "You Write the Rules" world tour. While he was here, Franklin told Ticket Chick Steph what really made him want to become a Harlem Globetrotter was seeing the team appear on Scooby Doo episodes when he was a kid.

He knew he was either going to solve crimes or play basketball when he grew up.

Franklin also said he thinks he can take anyone one-on-one -- Anyone? Well, maybe not LeBron James -- even though he did appear in James' first ever commercial. Check out the video below as 'Handles' shows off his handles.
