NextEnergy Forum To Help Michigan Companies Explore Energy Project Financing: Representatives from companies across Michigan will join NextEnergy on April 18 for a free Energy Efficiency Finance Forum. The Forum is designed to help commercial and industrial end-users, technology providers, and energy managers achieve a working knowledge of the main concepts, issues, and solutions in funding energy efficiency improvements. Although many companies understand that implementing energy efficiency projects can yield long-term savings and have a positive impact on the environment, many are unaware of the various financing options available. Others may be aware, but are unsure how to navigate through the process. Attendees will learn about emerging models for energy efficiency financing, and hear from those who have successfully secured it. They will also have the opportunity to connect directly with industry experts at “guru roundtables”, and network with a diverse set of stakeholders in the energy efficiency and finance sectors including, Citibank, Comerica Bank, General Motors, Lean & Green Michigan, Metro Controls, the Michigan Economic Development Corp., Michigan Saves and Rockwell Automation. Registration and a complete event agenda can be found at www.nextenergy.org/eefforum.
