GRAND RAPIDS — The Iserv Co. LLC, one of the largest independent Internet service providers in the Midwest, Monday announced it has added new sales and support staff to its experienced team. It has also extended its call center hours to accommodate customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Iserv has doubled its sales staff as part of its expansion plans for West Michigan and to provide more value to customers, the company also implemented a new customer assurance department.
“With all of the new services offered by Iserv, such as Hosted Voice and Enterprise Wireless, the need for more sales staff was a natural growth scenario,” said Jeff Potter, Iserv Director of Business Development. “We also feel it’s important to get our message out to West Michigan that Iserv is offering great services at great prices.”
Iserv’s Grand Rapids Network Operations Center, which provides assistance, monitoring and immediate support to customers, will extend its current hours to 24/7 365 days a year to enhance the customer experience. Callers will be connected with a live local representative, not an automated service, to assist with their questions. In addition to weekends, the call center will also be open on all major holidays.
“Iserv now serves as the support hub for customers across the country and around the world. As a result, it is critical for our customers to be able to reach live, expert support from any time zone,” said Dan Koch, Iserv CEO. “We also understand that for customers a bit closer to home, questions and problems are never limited to regular business hours, and now Iserv live, local support will always be there when our customers need it.”
Founded in 1995, Iserv is an employee owned company with deep roots in West Michigan, where it originally began delivering dependable Internet service to homes. Since then, the business has expanded dramatically, growing in coverage area, customer base, revenues, services, and technical capabilities. Iserv has evolved from a residential ISP to a full-service provider serving businesses and homes throughout the Midwest.
