Telenor Shared Services Selects Changepoint for Global Delivery of Project and Portfolio Management: Compuware Corp. (Nasdaq:CPWR) announced that Pakistan-based Telenor Shared Services, part of Telenor Group, one of the world’s major mobile operators, has selected Compuware Changepoint for Project and Portfolio Management. Changepoint becomes one of three strategic enterprise applications to be delivered through Telenor’s shared service organization to business units around the world. This helps Telenor Group realize its business strategy to build a new operating model centered on cost-efficient delivery of services. Changepoint PPM will be used globally by initially close to 3,500 Telenor project managers, telecom engineers, system engineers and resource managers. They will use Changepoint to plan, execute and manage the delivery of critical business projects, such as the roll-out of mobile phone spectrum and infrastructure, satellite broadcast services and field erection of relay stations. Changepoint will initially be deployed to project teams within five of Telenor’s business units, with a subsequent phase rollout to additional business units in Asia and Europe. Changepoint will be deployed as a shared service in parallel to Telenor’s other strategic SaaS applications — Oracle Financials and Workday. Changepoint will be integrated with these systems to exchange project, financial and human resources information. More at http://www.compuware.com/changepoint.
