Tim Hardaway Jr. Declares For The NBA Draft

By: Evan Jankens

DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) Michigan junior guard Tim Hardaway Jr. made it official Wednesday, announcing he will enter the 2013 NBA draft. This comes on the heels of his teammate Trey Burke announcing Sunday he will forego his junior season at Michigan.

This season, Hardaway Jr. averaged 14.5 ppg, 4.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Hardaway Jr. has averaged more than 13 points per game throughout his career at the University of Michigan.

Jeff Goodman from CBSSports.com has Hardaway Jr. going 47th overall in the 2013 NBA draft. Many believe that makes Hardaway Jr's decision to go pro questionable.

Now with the loss of Hardaway Jr., Michigan will return Spike Albracht, Glenn Robinson III, Mitch McGary, Nik Stauskas, Jon Horford, Caris Levert, Max Bielfeldt and Jordan Morgan. The question remains whether McGary and Robinson III will return for the sophomore season.

Michigan's incoming freshman class includes Zakarie Irvin (#24 on Rivals top 150) from Indiana, Derrick Walton (#37 on Rivals top 150) from Detroit, Mark Donnal (#111 on Rivals top 150) from Ohio. Click HERE to see the complete 150.
