Bank Robbery In Yale Linked To String Of Holdups

ST. CLAIR COUNTY (WWJ) - A bank robber suspected of robbing several banks across the Lower Peninsula has struck again - this time in St. Clair County.

Sheriff  Tim Donnellon says the stick-up happened Saturday afternoon at the Capac State Bank Branch in Yale.

The robber demanded the cash -- made a money grab and ran off.

Donnellon says the man is white, about 5-foot-9 to 5-11 with a medium build. He was wearing sunglasses and a dark T-shirt.

Other recent robberies linked to this suspept happened in Kalamazoo, Edmore and Brown City.

The St. Clair County sheriff's department asks anyone with information on the suspect to call 810-987-1733.
