Special Olympics Michigan Names TV Veteran As PR, Social Media Boss:  Special Olympics Michigan Friday announced the hiring of Aaron Mills as its new public relations and social media coordinator. Mills comes to SOMI from 9&10 News and Fox 32 News in Cadillac, where he spent more than a decade as an award-winning sports anchor and reporter. Mills will oversee all aspects of public relations for Special Olympics Michigan including the website, electronic newsletter, social media, media relations and video production. He can be reached at Aaron.mills@somi.org and (231) 620-7488. Special Olympics Michigan provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for 19,620 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Athletes build physical fitness, develop self-confidence and prepare for participation in society. SOMI is a non-profit organization supported almost entirely by corporate and individual gifts, without support of state funds. The generosity of Michigan organizations, individuals and statewide businesses enable the program to continue.
