Secure-24 Adds Backup As A Service

SOUTHFIELD -- Secure-24, a provider of cloud computing, application outsourcing and enterprise hosting services, now offers a new Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) solution for enterprises that need reliable, secure ITIL based data protection processes for their environments.

A team of experts will present Secure-24's backup-as-a-service in booth 759 during EMC World 2013 on May 6-9 at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Secure-24's Storage and Backup Services Manager Keith Bankston will be available to answer questions.

Bankston will also be speaking in the Partner Buzz Theater on May 8 at 2 p.m. for a session titled "Leveraging Backup-as-a-Service for Your Business: How to Avoid Costly Information Loss."

"Many organizations face challenges in justifying the cost to have all critical applications and data backed up properly," Bankston said. "A BaaS solution must integrate into existing infrastructure, and provide a single management interface for all administrators. Enterprise-level backup and restore requires a number of critical procedures. We provide our clients with a solution to reduce the costly risks of information loss without the high upfront investment."

Secure-24's Chief Architect of Infrastructure, Sean Donaldson, and Scott McIssac, Principal Architect, will also be presenting in the Enterprise Storage Division Theater on May 6 from 7 to 8:15 p.m. They will be discussing the benefits of leveraging EMC VMAX technology for businesses.

The backup uses hardware and software from EMC combined with data security, high availability and compliance from Secure-24.

Secure-24 utilizes EMC Avamar software and system, EMC NetWorker unified backup software and EMC Data Domain deduplication storage systems.
