Torii Hunter Expected To Rest Monday
Tigers manager Jim Leyland said Sunday he planned to give outfielder Torii Hunter the day off Monday against the Twins, per MLB.com. Hunter has started 21 games and appeared in 22 of the Tigers' 23 games.
Hunter is batting .375, which included 13 multi-hit games. He also has a .417 on-base percentage, .500 slugging percentage and .917 OPS.
