Healthcare Reform Expert To Speak At LTU May 14: Marianne Udow-Phillips, director of the Center for Healthcare Research and Transformation in Ann Arbor, will discuss health reform at the federal, state and local level on Tuesday, May 14 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Lawrence Technological University, 21000 W. 10 Mile Road in Southfield. CHRT is a non-profit partnership between the University of Michigan and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Udow-Phillips will provide an update on what is happening with implementation of the PPACA of 2010 (Federal Healthcare Reform Act) including recent decisions by the state of Michigan on health insurance exchanges and Medicaid expansion.
