AimWest To Meet On Security, Privacy: The next meeting of aimWest, the organization for technology professionals in the Grand Rapids area, will be held Wednesday, May 15 and cover “Security and Privacy.” It will be held at The Factory, above San Chez, 38 Fulton St. West, and begin with networking at 6 p.m. The program starts at 6:30. Muskegon Area First PTAC, SBA To Offer Small Business Certification Workshop: The Muskegon Area First Procurement Technical Assistance Center is partnering with the U.S. Small Business Administration to offer a free, three hour Small Business Certification Workshop to small businesses on Wednesday, May 8. Tom Vargo, from the SBA Michigan District Office, will discuss the small business certification process, including HUBZone, Woman-Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned and the 8(a) Business Development Program.
