LIVONIA (WWJ) –  Livonia police say a young group home resident who disappeared on Monday has been found safe.

Eli Ross, 22, was spotted in the area of 6 Mile Road and John R. in Detroit and is not back home safe.

He’d been headed to the Noble branch of the Livonia Public Library, at Plymouth and Farmington Roads and never returned.

Police say Ross, who is a double amputee, is confined to a wheelchair and has other medical issues that require attention.

He went once before and had taken a bus from Livonia to the area of I-94 and Connor area in Detroit.

Police thanked the public and the media for their help in locating Ross.
