Detroit Tigers 3rd Annual Classic Car Show Nomination Deadline Extended To May 17
DETROIT – Due to popular demand, and to help build the most diverse and competitive lineup of classic cars possible, the nomination deadline for the 3rd Annual Detroit Tigers Classic Car Show has been extended one week to Friday, May 17 at 5:00 p.m. Fans can participate in the Detroit Tigers 3rd Annual Classic Car Show, presented by MotorCity Casino Hotel and Total Lubricants, on Saturday, June 8, 2012, as the Tigers host the Cleveland Indians at Comerica Park.
Interested car owners are asked to participate in a nomination process located online at tigers.com/carshow. In order to participate, the following vehicle requirements must be met: manufactured in 1989 or before, must be of show quality, must be street legal, must have current insurance coverage. If selected, a registration fee of $129 will apply, which includes a car show space, two tickets to the Tigers vs. Indians game, two food vouchers for use within Comerica Park, two Classic Car Show T-Shirts, and a Classic Car Show poster.
Nominations will continue until Friday, May 17, at which time the 100 best nominated vehicles will be finalized and owners notified of their selection for display at the 3rd Annual Classic Car Show.
