Boil Water Advisory In Walled Lake

WALLED LAKE (WWJ) - Walled Lake residents are being asked to boil their water.

The city of Walled Lake's Water Department has issued the boil water advisory for the community, which will remain in effect until this Friday.

City officials said crews were working on a project at the meter pit when water pressure fell below the minimum standard for drinking water. Any time the levels fall lower than mandated by the government, a boil water advisory is mandatory.

Officials stress that it's only a precautionary measure.
