Social Media Day Detroit Tickets Now Available; Crowd Of 2,000 Expected
DETROIT — Social Media Day Detroit’s hosts Livio and MotorCity Casino Hotel, announced tickets for the fourth annual Social Media Day Detroit were released Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at www.SocialMediaDayDetroit.com.
The event will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 6 pm. to 10 p.m. at Sound Board, located inside MotorCity Casino Hotel and will feature social media brand experiences, giveaways and entertainment courtesy of event sponsors including Chevrolet, Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, ePrize, Fathead, MLive, Plex Systems, Quicken Loans, Twitter and Yelp!.
“This is our fourth year and this is going to be our biggest year yet,” said Livio Director of Marketing & Communications Nicole Yelland. “We brought it back to Thursday night, added our biggest sponsors and when it comes to Detroit’s community, it’s going to be hard not to have a great time.”
Social Media Day Detroit answered Mashable’s call to host a worldwide celebration of local social media communities in 2010 and thanks to support from sponsors the event has stayed free to attend and as epic as Sound Board.
