Verizon Expands 4G LTE Network Across Michigan

SOUTHFIELD -- Verizon Wireless is continuing to enhance and expand its 4G LTE network, which is currently available to customers in 491 markets, reaching 287 million people across the nation.

The company recently rolled out its advanced, high-speed wireless network in the following areas of Michigan:

* Cheboygan County in north-central Lower Michigan.  4G LTE expansion provides coverage along I-75 from Mackinaw City to the Mullet Lake area, and along US-23 across the entire county.

* Alpena County in northeast Lower Michigan. The company recently activated a new cell site that will improve its advanced, high-speed wireless network in Alpena, between Alpena and Long Lake along US-23.

* Adrian, in Lenawee County in southeast Lower Michigan.

* Gratiot County in central Lower Michigan. Included are areas in and around Alma, Carson City, North Star, Pompeii, and St. Louis. The expansion also extends 4G LTE also along all of US-127 in the county.
