Derek Mehraban to Highlight "Mobile, Social and Digital Marketing. Right Place Offers Innovation Tools Workshop: What if there was a perfect tool for creativity -- the Swiss Army Knife for innovation? While that one perfect gadget may not yet exist, a new course from the NewNorth Center will expose participants to a set of tools that can help feed their company's innovation pipeline. The course will discuss the process for facilitating innovation and top tools available to increase effectiveness through specific stages. Oakland County Presents Marketing Your Business Wednesday, June 5: From 6 to 9 p.m., Oakland County will offer "Marketing Your Business." The course presents practical applications of marketing concepts designed to help small businesses grow. It covers basic marketing tools including market analysis and research, target marketing, assessing competitors, and key marketing implementation tools. Oakland County Presents Financial Management Thursday, June 6: From 9 a.m. to noon, Oakland County will present "Financial Management." As an introductory seminar, the course covers the basics of financial management, including how to start an accounting system and how to apply the information from key financial statements to help you manage your business. Oakland County Presents Quickbooks Essentials (Parts 1 and 2) Thursday, June 13: From 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m., Oakland County will present parts 1 and 2 of 'Quickbooks Essentials.'
