Police Ask For Help In Finding Suspect In Alleged Sexual Assault

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit are asking for help in the search for a suspect in an alleged attack which occurred against a woman in mid-May.

Police tell WWJ that on May 13, at about 11 p.m. in the 4100 block of Woodward,  a 26-year-old woman was helping another woman who was lying in the street.

A man in his 30s approached the woman and offered to help. When the alleged victim went back to her car she was reportedly assaulted and forced into her car.

Police say the suspect drove to a bank and withdrew money from the woman's account and then drove to another location where he sexually assaulted her before she escaped from the car.

Police say the suspect may be known as 'Tee".
