Amway Employees Treated After Disinfectant Leak

ADA TOWNSHIP (AP) – Amway Corp. says two of its employees were treated at a hospital following the leak of a cleaning chemical at its West Michigan headquarters.

The direct-sales giant says the disinfectant leak happened late Wednesday during third-shift manufacturing in Kent County’s Ada Township.

A hazardous materials crew responded.

Amway says the employees were taken to a hospital, where they were treated and released.
