Lincoln Park Teen Drowns While Fishing On Wolf Lake

LENAWEE COUNTY (WWJ) – A Lincoln Park teen has drowned while fishing in a Lenawee County lake.

Seventeen-year old Jeffrey Walkowski was on Wolf Lake, about 20 minutes north of Michigan International Speedway, when his boat capsized early Sunday morning.

A second person in the boat, 18-year old Steve Chapo of Flat Rock, made it to shore safely. Walkowski’s body was found about eight hours later.
