Billhighway Welcomes New Client Kids Kicking Cancer: The cloud-based financial management provider Billhighway Monday announced the addition of Kids Kicking Cancer to its client roster. A nonprofit located in Detroit, Kids Kicking Cancer helps children with cancer manage the stress and pain of their disease and treatments through personalized coaching instructed by black belt martial artists. Motivated by the desire to accept credit card contributions at charity events, Kids Kicking Cancer began researching mobile fundraising applications. They had used Square at a past event, which worked from a payment processing standpoint, yet didn’t provide the ability to collect valuable donor contact information. This led to an arduous process of trying to match donors to payments manually after the fact, without any way to confirm accuracy. The organization took a look at Billhighway Give, was quickly sold on the nonprofit-specific features of the application, and decided to make the switch. Kids Kicking Cancer has already used Give at a sports-a-thon event, where they processed admission fees and collected donations with the application. They plan to use it again in June at a private, invitation-only fundraiser where they’ll process entrance fees and silent auction checkouts on the spot. Billhighway Give is a mobile fundraising and event system that enables nonprofits to collect contributions, accept ticket sales or auction bids in a fast and secure manner, all while on the go. Through the payment process, critical donor information is collected and can be imported into a donor management system for continued nurturing and relationship building. Give was created exclusively for nonprofit organizations to bring together data integration, branding, campaign tracking and motivational tools like no other mobile application on the market. Nonprofit organizations use Billhighway’s financial management system to reduce expenses, increase cash flow and mitigate risk. For over 13 years, 3,500 nonprofits have trusted Billhighway to seamlessly manage their transactions. More at
