Tigers shortstop Jhonny Peralta could not be retired Monday at home against the Pirates. He was 4 for 4 at the plate.

Peralta’s single in the fourth inning drove in Prince Fielder and he added an RBI double in the fifth. He also had a third RBI in the seventh inning when his single to center scored Miguel Cabrera.
