Detroit Red Wings Experience To Participate At Downtown Hoedown And Grand Prix
Detroit, MI… The Detroit Red Wings Experience presented by Coke Zero will appear at both the 2013 WYCD Downtown Hoedown outside of Comerica Park as well as the 2013 Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix this weekend.
The DRW Experience mobile entertainment complex will be set up at the Downtown Hoedown on the corner of Elizabeth and Witherell near the Woodward Main Entrance on Friday, May 31, from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. and then 2:00 – 10:00 p.m. on both Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, of this popular country music festival.
This entertainment-filled weekend will feature Red Wings alumni Darren McCarty and Mickey Redmond, who will both be available to sign autographs for fans at the Detroit Red Wings Experience presented by Coke Zero. McCarty will appear on Saturday, June 1, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and Redmond will sign on Sunday, June 2, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
The Meijer Family Fun Zone will host the Detroit Red Wings Experience presented by Coke Zero at the 2013 Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix to allow visitors the opportunity to test their hockey skills via interactive games from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2. Furthermore, McCarty will sign autographs within the Detroit Red Wings Experience area on Sunday, June 2, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Members of the Volunteer Energy Red Patrol will be on hand at both the Downtown Hoedown and the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix this weekend, distributing various giveaway items to event attendees. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in enter-to-win raffles for a chance to win Red Wings prizes and autographed memorabilia.
