Storm Makes Way Through Southeast Michigan
DETROIT (WWJ) - A series of storms made their way through southeast Michigan Tuesday night:
In Shiawassee County:
Reports of trees down and a report of a tornado touching down in the town of Perry. Several homes were damaged in Goodrich, near the high school. And there's an apparent power failure at the high school.
A motorist reportedly was trapped in a car.
In Fenton, severe damage to a garage, house, and a barn.
In Genesee County:
Numerous trees were sheered off in northern Flint.
Power outages along Dort Highway from I-475 to Stanley, in the Byron area.
A barn apparently collapsed on Torrey Road, between Baldwin and Ray Roads.
There was a report of a tornado on the East side of Grand Blanc.
