DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Tiffany and Sapphire have a couple of things in common: One: They’re too cute for words.
And two: They started life in unfortunate circumstances.
Baby girls Sapphire and Tiffany were born after Detroit Dog Rescue received a call from a Detroit firefighter who noticed a dog in the front room of an abandoned home.
“After checking out the situation (which he stated was horrific) he noticed that she was pregnant,” said David Rudolph of DDR. “We immediately took her to the vet for an exam and then she was placed in a foster home so she could have her little babies.”
And here they are. The pair were born on Tigers Opening Day and are “doing great,” Rudolph said, adding the terrier mixes should be ready for adoption July 14th. If they’re the dogs for you, email firstname.lastname@example.org to meet the puppies in person.
