Suspect At Large In Fatal Nightclub Shooting

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 33-year-old Southfield man in connection with a fatal nightclub shooting on Easter Sunday.

Southfield police say Deangelo Eady is facing murder and firearms charges for the March 31 shooting at the Myst Ultra Lounge that killed 33-year old Nicole Riggs of Oak Park.

Investigators said several people were tossed out of the club following a fight inside. One of those people was reportedly overheard threatening to return with a weapon--but police aren't saying whether that person was Eady.

A short time later, shots were fired from the parking lot into the club -- striking Riggs. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police said Eady should be considered armed in dangerous. Anyone who sees him is warned not to approach or attempt to detain him, but to immediately dial 911.

Anyone with information about Eady's whereabouts or about the shooting is asked to call the Southfield Police Department at 248-796-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (1-800-773-2587).

Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 cash reward for tips leading to an arrest.
