New Charges Against Ex-NFL Player Titus Young

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) — Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young has been charged with trespassing for allegedly trying to break into a Southern California tow yard to get his car back.

According to Riverside County court documents filed Wednesday, Young faces two misdemeanors there, in addition to the four felony charges of attempted burglary and other crimes in a separate incident in neighboring Orange County.

On May 5, Young was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and then arrested again the same day for trying to take his car from the tow yard in Moreno Valley.

The 23-year-old was arrested a third time on May 12, for allegedly breaking into a San Clemente home.

A phone call to his attorney, Altus Hudson, was not immediately returned.
