ROMULUS (WWJ) - Police say a man was killed on the job Wednesday morning when he was apparently run over in a parking lot.

The accident happened at USF Holland trucking company on Wick Road, just west of Inkster in Romulus.

The victim, a dock worker, was killed after being hit by a semi-truck in the company’s freight lot.

Romulus police are on the scene investigating the incident. More information is expected to be released later Wednesday.

The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
