Tigers manager Jim Leyland said starting pitcher Justin Verlander will not be skipped in the rotation amid his recent struggles, according to MLive.com.

“No, I’m not going to give him a 10-day vacation,” Leyland said. “If he’s healthy, which he is, he’ll pitch.”
