Red Wings Draft Mantha With 20th Pick

DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Red Wings took right wing Anthony Mantha with the 20th pick in the NHL draft Sunday.

Detroit made the pick after trading the No. 18 selection to the San Jose Sharks for the 20th and 58th picks.

The 6-foot-3 Mantha scored 50 goals with 39 assists in 67 games last season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

The Red Wings later took forward Zach Nastasiuk with pick No. 48 and forward Tyler Bertuzzi at No. 58. Bertuzzi's uncle Todd has played several seasons for the Red Wings.
