Clawson Parade Features Just For Fun Firecracker Run

CLAWSON (WWJ) - The city of Clawson celebrated the Fourth of July with an early morning parade..

The annual Clawson Fourth of July parade had hundreds of people young and old lining 14 Mile Road Thursday.

The yearly event kicked off with a 'firecracker' run.

Clawson residents Tony and Amy Chimelinski who had two children in tow.

"We had a blast, kids did great in the stroller, they loved it ... 7 minutes, 8 seconds (running the firecracker mile) we're pretty happy," said Tony.
