NEF Marks 10 Years Of Reviewing Unusual Entrepreneurs

ANN ARBOR -- July is "unusual entrepreneurs" month at the New Enterprise Forum -- as well as the 10th year of NEF looking at business success stories that hinge on a wacky product or service idea, lucky timing in a market segment or a chance encounter that became a big break.

To celebrate the decade mark, this year NEF will look back at some of our favorite companies that presented previously and see how they are doing today.  Come join us to hear how "outside the box" ideas can become successful business opportunities.   The meeting will take place Thursday, July 25 -- one week later than usual due to the Ann Arbor Art Fairs -- at the Holiday Inn North Campus, 3600 Plymouth Road at US-23 in Ann Arbor.

Panelists include Tanya Allen of Forever Fresh, Howdy Holmes of Chelsea Milling and Jiffy Mix, and Brad Morgan of Morgan Composting and Dairy Doo. The moderator will be serial entrepreneur Jesse Bernstein.

Registration and networking begin at 5 p.m., with the program beginning at 5:45. It's free to NEF members, $5 for students and $20 for others.
