Scherzer In For All-Star Game: Complete Line-Up Here
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Pitcher Max Scherzer referenced this weekend what he would do if he was chosen to take the mound for the All-Star team, telling CBS Detroit's Ashley Dunkak he would chat up his pitching hero Mariano Rivera.
"'Teach me!'" Scherzer said, laughing about what he would say to Rivera. "'I'm all ears, I'm all ears! If you teach me how to throw that cutter, oh my gosh.'
"I doubt that happens," he added, "but you've got to hope, you've got to dream, right?"
