Detroit Police Search For Missing Teen

DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are hoping the public can help them find a 16-year-old girl who has been missing for a week.

Family members say Jakeisha Stevenson was last seen on July 16 between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. at her home in the 15000 block of Liberal, near Hayes Street just north of 7 Mile Road on the city’s east side.

Stevenson is described as 5-foot 9-inches, 313 lbs with a medium brown complexion, brown eyes and long, straight brown hair. She was last seen wearing black shorts with a white belt, black shirt and  black-and-gray Jordan style flip-flops.

Anyone who has seen Stevenson or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Detroit police at 313-596-1340.
