North American Bancard CEO Named Executive of the Year in Best in Biz International Awards: North American Bancard, the Troy-based electronic payments technology provider, said last week that its founder and CEO, Marc Gardner, has been named the silver winner in the Executive of the Year category of the 2013 International Best in Biz Awards, a prestigious independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts. With a mission to level the playing field for businesses of all sizes in regard to their ability to accept and process payments and gain access to critical business intelligence at the point of sale, Gardner drove the evolution of NAB's product and service offerings, delivering the industry's most aggressive rates and most inclusive programs for merchants of all sizes. With the founding of NAB subsidiary, PayAnywhere, in 2011, Gardner ushered in the mobile revolution, bringing to market the most comprehensive mobile point of sale solution available, backed by the 24/7 customer support that NAB is known for. With consistent year over year revenue growth, despite a down economy, Gardner has shown that investment in new technologies to help American businesses succeed is a winning bet. More than 150 public and private companies representing all sectors of the economy from more than 25 countries competed in this year's International Best in Biz Awards program.
