Troy Toolmaker Looking To Hire 100

TROY (CBS Detroit) - A Troy toolmaker is expanding and plans to hire. Seco Tools is opening a new factory for its Custom Tools Division. Seco employes about 110 workers at its headquarters in Troy.

Officials say they'll expand their workforce by at least 20 percent.

"With the expansion, Seco will further strengthen its support for local manufacturers that are experiencing increased demand, especially those within the automotive industry," the company said in a release. "The new 30,000-sq-ft Custom Tools Division will bring together design, engineering and manufacturing functions, and will allow Seco to provide customers with competitively priced, fully engineered tooling solutions for their individual manufacturing needs."

They're looking for experienced machinists and engineers.
