Gas Prices On The Rise Again

DEARBORN, Mich. (WWJ/AP) – Gas prices are on the rise once again. According to AAA Michigan, prices at the pump have risen about 3 cents during the past week to a statewide average of about $3.66 per gallon.

Dearborn-based AAA Michigan says the average is about 34 cents per gallon less than this time last year.

Of the 2,800 gas stations in the cities that AAA Michigan surveys daily, the auto club says the cheapest price for self-serve unleaded gas is in the Detroit area, where it’s about $3.61 a gallon. The highest average is in the Marquette area at about $3.76 a gallon.

Heading up north anyone?
