2 Men, Toddler Injured In Drive-By Shooting

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police say three people, including a 2-year-old, were injured during a drive-by shooting outside a restaurant on Detroit's southwest side.

The shooting took place around 5 p.m. outside the Snack in a Box restaurant, which is under renovation, on Michigan Avenue, near the I-75/I-96 interchange.

According to police, two men, ages 20 and 35, were standing outside with the toddler when the suspects fired shots from a moving vehicle, striking each of them.

The victims were rushed to the hospital, all in temp-serious condition. The suspects fled the scene.

The suspects are described as Hispanic or Caucasian males, all armed. The vehicle was only described as being black or red in color.

Police say the suspects are considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.
