3000 Expected Along “Lazy River” in Port Huron Float Down

PORT HURON (CBSDETROIT) – The St. Clair River will be turned into one giant “lazy river” Sunday. Up to three thousand people are expected at the Port Huron Float Down starting at one p.m.

People in tubes and rafts will hop into the water at Lighthouse Beach in Port Huron and float down to Chrysler Beach in Marysville.

Police, though, are warning participants to bring paddles, as gusty winds could push people across the river toward Canada.
