Mackinac Partners Expands Service Capabilities, Gregory J. Suhajda To Lead New Business Intelligence Division

BLOOMFIELD HILLS (WWJ) -- Mackinac Partners, a financial advisory and turnaround management firm has expanded its service capabilities with the introduction of a new business intelligence division.

This area of expertise will offer a combination of corporate due diligence, investigative, cyber security and business intelligence services.

Gregory J. Suhajda has joined the firm as president of this new division and as a senior managing director of Mackinac Partners. He brings more than 20 years of experience within the investigative and international intelligence community.

Prior to joining Mackinac Partners, Suhajda was president of Rehmann Corporate Investigative Services, a global risk management and intelligence firm based in Troy. He also was co-founder and served as president and CEO of Veritas Global Inc., a business intelligence and corporate investigative firm that was acquired by The Rehmann Group in 2010. Earlier, Suhajda served as a special agent with both the United States Secret Service and the FBI. While with the Secret Service, Suhajda was chosen as a member of President Clinton's presidential protective detail. He also completed the rigorous training required to be a member of the elite Counter Assault Team (CAT), receiving extensive training from the U.S. Military's Special Forces Delta and Navy SEAL units. While at the FBI, Suhajda was a team member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force, serving as a Mid-East Intelligence Specialist. He was then appointed to the position of FBI Terrorism Coordinator just prior to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. He has developed and maintains an extensive network of vetted relationships throughout the United States, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
