Crane Topples Onto Garage In Royal Oak

ROYAL OAK (WWJ) – Fire crews were called to a home in Royal Oak after a large crane toppled over.

Fire officials say the construction crane tipped over onto a garage, Thursday afternoon, near a home on Second Street near Blair Avenue.

It appears the crane flipped over while attempting to remove a tree trunk in a neighboring yard.

Royal Oak authorities say there are no reports of any injuries. However, power was cut to some residents because the crane hit wires when it fell.
