Care Package Drive For Military Troops Happens In Troy

TROY (WWJ) – In remembrance of the 9-11 attacks and Patriot’s Day — White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy is hosting its “Sixth Annual Care Package Drive.”

David Krall, President of White Chapel tells WWJ that they’re asking the public to donate items for personal hygiene, entertainment and other miscellaneous items that would remind the soldiers of home:

“We partnered once again with Michigan Military Moms and they have provided us with all the different list of items with the troops that they have on their list (that they need) and they will help us package it all up and we will send it over to the troops,” said Krall.

The drive begins Monday through September 17th — between 8am and 6pm. White Chapel is located on W. Long Lake Road in Troy.
