SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) – Southfield-based Computing Source, a full-service digital evidence and legal support firm, has opened its sixth Midwest office in Chicago.

With established locations in Southfield, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids and Birmingham, this is the company’s first expansion into the greater Midwest.

Located in the heart of the Chicago Loop at 20 N. Clark St., Suite 1230, the new office will house more than 30 digital evidence professionals dedicated to serving the Chicago legal community with an extensive, all-in-one suite of services that includes computer forensics, electronic discovery, copy/scan/print services, demonstrative evidence consultation and creation, trial presentation technology, expert witness testimony, hosted document and native file review and coding, fixed price meet and confer consulting, contract attorney document review staffing, paralegal on-call support, and high-tech court reporting and video services.

Computing Source CEO and managing director Mark St. Peter is accredited as a Certified Computer Examiner, a Certified Fraud Examiner and an associate member of the American Bar Association.

The office will be led by regional sales director Bill Schiestel, a litigation support veteran who has been servicing law firm needs for more than 15 years. Schiestel is joined by senior account executives Chad Heilig, Dave McIsaac, Rik Neace and Alex Gomez, all of whom have many years of experience in the field satisfying legal clients’ important, demanding and time-intensive needs. They will be supported by a robust, experienced and talented production staff working three full shifts.

“With more than a decade of experience working with law firms and corporate counsel throughout Michigan and the Midwest, Computing Source has an unparalleled understanding of the increasing challenges the legal community faces in today’s digital world, and is uniquely equipped to serve as an all-in-one solution,” St. Peter said. “Our growth has led to our Chicago expansion, and our goal is to serve as a trusted partner for all of the legal community’s needs by ensuring they only need one number to call for support throughout the lifecycle of their cases. Our team of best-in-the-business, dedicated professionals is ready to work around the clock to deliver the highest quality solutions for every issue that might arise before, during and after a case.”

Computing Source’s expansion into Chicago is the latest chapter in the firm’s impressive growth story, which has included the addition of several new specialty areas, more than 50 professionals added in 2013 and the acquisition of Evidence Express, the Midwest’s premier demonstrative evidence firm.
