All reports Wednesday had longtime Detroit Red Wing Dan Cleary out the door for the Philadelphia Flyers after Detroit's offer did not match what Cleary expected. Apparently, though, the deal with the Flyers fell through, and Cleary will be back in Detroit.

A 15-year NHL veteran, Cleary has spent the last eight seasons in Detroit. Now 34 years old, Cleary began his career in 1997 with the Chicago Blackhawks. After two years in the Windy City, Cleary - a Canada native - played four years for the Edmonton Oilers. After one season with the Phoenix Coyotes, he landed in Detroit in 2005, and he has been with the Red Wings ever since.
