RocketHub to Visit Michigan for Crowd Camp Weekend: Meet the founders of the crowdfunding site RocketHub at Crowd Camp Weekend Oct. 12 and 13 at Ann Arbor Spark, 330 E. Liberty St. in Ann Arbor. The event is sponsored by Spark and the Mid Michigan Innovation Center. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13. RocketHub founders Brian Meece and Gustavo Rodriguez have lectured on crowdfunding at SXSW, TEDxBrooklyn, Columbia University, Maker Faire, White House Roundtables, and have even testified before the U.S. Congress. Their goal? To teach entrepreneurs, creatives, and makers how to leverage the crowd for funding their endeavors. Plus you and your idea could be featured on A&E TV and projectstartup.com.
